So we lost our first warmup, no biggy though IMO. We were without plenty of key players and really looked the better side throughout the match, so I'm happy with that. We were largely dissapointing with the bat bar a few 50's. We should really be working on that.

Plenty of players have been rotated for the final FC match of the pre-season, check the side out in the team naming thread if you want to know about it.

In some other news, Georgy Roberts has informed me that he won't be around CW until mid to late June, so he has said he is happy not to play until then. I'm fine with him playing, though. Everyone's thoughts on this?

Good win there with an understrength side. Gelman really stood up there and carried us home.

Side for the OD game against Green

Decided to go full strength, just to see how we work as a unit. Gave Arnold a run at the #6 spot that me, Meeks, Blackman and him will be battling for. Hopefully he does well. Dav impressed in the Pro40 stuff in England, and ads much needed batting depth, so he gets a gig. Hope to get another win guys. (Y)

It'll more than likely be you and Markus opening, then Cloete and Chaulk. Just wanted to see how all the partnerships work out.

Our worst performance so far. Just terrible. Patrick, Cloete and Gelman all fought hard, and some late order hitting made it somewhat respectable, but the bowling was flogged. Not such good signs.
