That was another great win by us Blacks. A 300+ score is always good, especially against a good reds lineup. I was very happy with my innings, faster then usual, but I hope I can get to the level of Loc sometime soon.

just questioning my batting at number 8.. i have scored 218 runs at an average of 43 this season.
Its a bit hard to put you higher in the order with the very strong OD batting lineup we've got i'd say.

Was just a suggestion.. cause most of the guys above are the more agressive and may have a big collapse... were as i mite be able to hold down one end while the others do the damage... and the TEAM goes well.... just my thoughts..

WRT the one-day bowling:

Loc
Chaulk
Butler *
Blackman
Mohammad *
Wilson **
Hing *
Kearsley *
Dubb-Lynch *
Thompson **
Pickup **

We have three "front-line" bowling options (i.e. players who will contribute ten overs more often than not - **), plus five more than adequate part-timers (*) - it's a more balanced setup than England's ODI side has at the moment for mine. Plus there's Alex and Chris to bowl if it all goes wrong...

The extra benefit of this lineup is the incredible batting depth, which means we can play very positively, and look at 300+ totals to become pretty regular occurences! :)

great to be back into the 4day stuff after a recent diet of odis. brilliant that a can carry on my form from the vb series and make a contribution straight away for the team. 2 in both forms boys, and only just, gotta get that number one spot back!

What ever happens with the order is good... but if the top 5 only score about 200 to 250 from the 50 overs then it hasnt worked.. because like u said neil with that much batting we need to score 300 plus everygame.

good win...im not sure if i read the right one though
Yeh it was a great win. If you're not sure, just look and see if I scored a hundred, because it's my first and only one. Let's just hope I can play another good openers innings in the one day form.

hehehe anybody feeling down after the one day game? only 235 put on the board with a star studded batting line up which traveled down to atleast 9.... dissapointing but then again we will come back i no we will. (scored at almost a run a ball there for my 29)
