Scary thing is, if it's their day, Pakistan could beat England in this series and it wouldn't come as a huge surprise.

Honestly...those days are gone imo...when Pak was one of those crazy teams....back then we had some muscle in the team it was only a matter of flexing them to get a win against good teams.....now the team is really really weak..with this batting line up we are severely handicapped, even a good day would not be enough to confirm a win in tests...

Thank you for being realistic!!, your a true Pak fan and you aren't papering over the cracks just because your bowlers have had some good spells, some people are intent on bigging up Pak whilst putting down other teams without looking at the bigger picture but your honesty is to be admired.

On another note instead of having two tiers maybe it's time for the "lower ranked teams" to have a tri series? like Pak vs WI, NZ vs Bang and then visa versa and then we could see who comes out on top.

At the same time i still think Pak will be leading the tier 2 section....possibly can over come NZ as well...however, beating teams like Eng, Ind, SA, Aus is what my post was mostly directed at.....i still think Pak side will, not as comfortably, but still pull off wins against Bang, WI, Zim etc...

Plus i am very happy with our bowling....i don't think you can knock their performance down to only "some good spells"...they have been pretty consistent through out...and have dominated for the most part the opposition batsmen..had it not been for poor fielding and dropped catches the results would have been a lot better....

Sorry. I'll say what I really think...

NZ have to be the greatest test team in the world right now. Look at who we have got!!! Once B Mac starts to open for us and performs better than Sehwag, it will give us just the start we have been wanting. With the better starts, surely Ross Taylor will go on to break all sorts of records as it is only the fact we have been 3 down so early on that his kept his average under 50. Wait for that to change in the coming months. In Kane Williamson we have found (without a doubt) the greatest spinning all rounder ever. A lot of people are going on about his batting (and he is going to be one of the all time greats), but wait until his Laker like bowling comes into play!!! It's going to be the sight Kiwi fans have been waiting for. By the way, I also fully expect that this will completely reinvigorate Dan Vettori's bowling and he will actually be able to spin the ball again. Andy McKay is the new left armed Shane Bond - he will average about the same, and have a similar strike rate, but NEVER GET INJURED!!! Plus Ponting said that Southee is the future of our test bowling - and he has scored SO MANY RUNS HE MUST BE RIGHT!!!! Wait until he gets his perfect line and length sorted. Throw in Ryder returning from injury, a yet to be announced keeper/batsman who WILL be the next Gilchrist, the unproven Watling, McIntosh and Guptill who WILL PROVE THEMSELVES MARK MY WORDS,and our amazing stocks of seam bowling options and I think you'll agree, it's not me who's CRAZY!!! IT'S YOU!!!

Pakistan just beat Australia? NZ haven't beaten Aussie for about 16 years! They do struggle batting wise, but they can still produce that one off performance (88 all out) that is good enough to get them home.
