Fleming - best innovation & results with least resources other than the likes of ZIM .......

:)

Fleming (ignoring Age's obvious Aussie Bias, since Ponting hasn't even been captain for little more than a year and just look at his squad)

Then Streak

Easily Fleming. He has done so well with the team he has. The plans that the N.Z. brains trust put together are excellent. Plus fleming doesn't have this luxury: "Oh, we're in trouble, hmm let me think, Warne at one end, McGrath at the other."

Well actually neither has Ponting for a while...

Well obviously Ponting is unproved at test level, from the list one would have to say Stephen Fleming.
His tactics against a full strength Aussie side a couple of seasons ago were well though out, and executed.

The tactic to bowl to Martyn's supposed strength and assume he would be arrogant enough to keep playing the shot with 2 or 3 fielders there was absolutely spot on - and leaving McGrath alone just outside the off stump was reasonably negative, but it did work, and frustrated the great fast bowler.

Stephen Fleming

Stephen flaming is the best man in the world.and lately,he has been leading by example.

Heath Streak,2nd.

Although Heath Streak does take the cake for inspiration,as he is leading a team of young guys.

Ponting is a no.

Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
Easily Fleming, tactically he's a genius. There's a reason he has the reputation of being the best, because he is consistently thinking up ideas.

Left of centre ideas too.....bit like Mike Brearley, except Fleming is a better player than Michael.

the answers to this question can be multiple......a bit like asking who the best bowler is.....there are so many categories....spinners, seamers, swingers, mediumpacers....

Likewise here.....

Best leader of men- Ganguly

Best tactician-Fleming

Best leader by example- Ganguly\Graeme smith

Luckiest captain- Ponting

Unluckiest- Streak,lara
