The Battle of the Commentators

I can tell that this one's a popular battle. Could be the first winner to actually receive a negative overall vote total comes from this one! Not necessarily the best commentator, just the least bad!

Still, you guys voted them into Round Two. Could just as easily been CMJ vs Cullinan.... hmmm.

Yes he's grumpy, but he knows his stuff.

He's never biased for a country, but playing styles he likes (which isn't necessarily that bad). He doesn't like Kallis much though lol.

I don't think Lawry's style has moved on since he started commentating at Channel 9. At least you know what you are getting. Very entertaining but after 20 something years I'd like a few more shots in his repetoire.

Ian Chappell on the other hand is quite aggressive and forthright. He knows his stuff.

It was so close that I had to ask the third umpire for a decision. After much deliberation he awarded it to Chappell.
