Had a bet with pasag that Symonds wouldn't score 50 in either innings of this test. But yeah, I'm out of the avatar challenge business if people are just going to give me Symonds every time; takes the fun out of it.

Personally I think it's just ridiculous. If I was bitter as such I just wouldn't wear it. You're completely within your rights to give me whatever avatar you want but I thought you'd be able to come up with something better than the same idea as last time. I wouldn't suggest giving you Scaly twice, for example - it's only funny once.

Nah, mate, whole point for me is giving 'em something I like, hence my rather unimaginative giving B*Witched to anyone who I manage to conquer. Just a shame you and sp713 didn't say "the avatar of the first person to respond's choice" rather than Hussey\Ponting.

Agree with Rob FTR about it being boring to give someone the same thing over and again. I expected little less than getting Harmison on both my debacles, especially one when said bet centred around his antics, but it was mildly annoying. The Symonds one Gelman gave him first with the accompanying text was mildly funny I agree, but my first reaction this time was "uh, what, again? "

Is a decent chance of someone scoring one in the second-innings TBH. I reckon. Not worth a "I'll have X avatar for a week if no Kiwi scores a century this second-innings" though - not quite.

An avatar challenge is not a big deal really. Don't know why people need to make such a big deal out of it. Should not enter into avatar challenges or lay down conditions if you can't take it without complaining really. Spoils what is very much a fun thing.
