You were on somewhat of a semi-hiatus a couple of weeks ago when I was last a daily poster Rich; is that over now?
TBH, think I'm going to be less active as of September last year for the foreseeable future than I had been in 2008 and most of 2009, due to multiple commitments that really only have precedent in my first year at CW in 2003/04, which really isn't comparable for multiple reasons, the most significant being that I now have my own internet-accessed computer, which was not the case back then.

What with uni, work and sociality, I'm not going to be posting as much as I've tended to be for however long that lasts - which will be a fair while - but still, obviously, plenty enough.

The more uni work I have the most I post, hence why I dissapeared entirely during my first and second years when I had little work to do and no money problems, now I have loads more to do and very little money I am stuck at home doing uni work (wasting my time on here) a lot more than I used to be.

Heh, I seem to take a different approach to degrees than the prevailing one. Noticed that already before now.

Have no plans to be disappearing of my own accord - only thing that will part me from CW permanently is a perm-ban, death or the closure of the forum. I'm just not likely to be as active over the next few years as I have over the previous few.

Just wanna say, I notice the mods being more pro-active with thread merges. A aviation forum I'm on, full of professional pilots (so time is limited, no room for bull****, etc.), has a mod team which is hot on the exact same thing and their forum runs very smoothly so I think this is a great thing. Nice work, guys.

Yup, agree entirely - as I've stated for quite a while. A thread merge can save a hell of a lot needless rehashing.

Sorry to join his discussion so late, however like others I don't get time to look at every thread and wasn't aware of any change in atmosphere.

However, if the threads in question are within forum rules and not OT surely that's all that matters?
