The ATG World XI's game

How people are choosing Stewart over Dujon, Evans, Waite, Grout etc. is beyond me, to be honest.
Because having a number 7 batsmen who can consistently both rescue a team when they have collapsed, or come in and hit and quick 50-100 to take the game away from the opposition is fundamentally important.

Besides, I never heard his captain, bowlers, or the press complain about his keeping. To me that indicates that he was more than just OK. He was also well liked and respected as an individual of quality, and as a 'team player'.......

Snow and Hall win with 4 each. Healy is our keeper, providing decent batting and more importantly, excellent glovework. Kumble thrashed his competition and is our spinner. Hall bats in front of snow because he has a FC century, otherwise they are quite average tailenders.

I am hoping we can get a Turner-Spofforth-Lohmann attack next round, I just realised how good that would be.

Actually, scrap this. rvd's 2 seems a far more logical suggestion.

Walters is a fantastic choice at the moment. Great batsman, useful trundler as a fifth.

Gower really should've been picked by now. Not that fussed about the 5th bowler.

Tate for the same reasons as last time
