Think Pollock would be a good person to have as the 3rd seamer especially as he can bat a bit. Steyn unlucky to miss out by Waqar claims it with longevity.

Waqar doesn't get maximum longevity points in my opinion, although it may be harsh. His last 56 games (out of 87) only yielded 3 five wicket hauls, whereas his first 31 earned him 19. Regardless, I still rate him above Steyn for what he did.

Great response to this one. Greenidge (14) and Hayden (8) were the winners of the opening slot, which will provide a destructive left-right combination up top. There were 9 different openers who received votes, which is great variety. In the bowling department, there were 11 different selections- Lindwall and Garner stood tall (literally, in Garner's case) above the rest, receiving 10 and 9 votes respectively.

Why can't you believe that Grimmett nor Harvey have made it so far when neither of them made your 4 World teams in your sig?

Just pointing out the strength of some of the players still unselected. Also I rate the players mentioned higher than some of the ones already slected. Additionally Laker made my last team ahead of Grimmett simply because the team already had a leg spinner in Faulkner, who was also the all rounder.

Neil Harvey

Another fine stroke maker, fits into this aggressive side nicely.

Frank Worrell

Class player, has a good record against the quality teams of his time. Leadership skills a plenty too.
