Which bowling attack would you prefer in Asian conditions?

Ashwin, Kumble, Warne, Murali
Or
McGrath, Marshall, Imran , Akram

Assume no over-rate penalty or fine.
I would prefer the pacers if it is a lot of matches over variety of asian conditions which would include spin friendly tracks, pitches which start out great for batting and slowly deteriorate, the occasional greentop and some proper shirtfronts.

Not including Smith or any other current player. Only change I’m really considering is Imran in over Steyn or Ambrose in the 2nd XI to sure up the batting a bit, really like those two blokes though.

In Team #1, Tallon,Grout, Engineer or Maclean would rate above Gilchrist as a keeper. With that strength i the batting you need a specialist keeper NOT Keeper/batsman

If you're playing against another ATG team with an ATG bowling attack you would need a relative increase in batting strength too though

Notes:

- Simpson wins by a whisker with his slip catching

- Border complements Bradman. His experience overcoming harrowing conditions is invaluable

- With Bradman, a bowling AR is preferable. Davidson also adds variety and thus chosen over Miller

I rarely bother with this thread, but I was thinking about England in the 70's which was my first full decade of watching and it's not pretty.
Gooch, Gower and Gatting not included. Botham debuted after Gooch and not long before Gower and Gatting, but he had a few match winning performances from 77 to 79. Ward a complete cheat, but there's no prizes and he was probably England's fastest bowler, but also most injury prone.

Paynter appears to be the English Voges
Hammond and Paynter were almost exact contemporaries. Just compare the number of Tests they played, or their batting averages and number of centuries in first class cricket, to get a relative idea of where these two players stand in the pantheon of cricketing greats. Picking Paynter over Hammond is like picking Voges over Smith. And this is before even considering Hammond's additional skills as the best slip fielder of his generation and a very useful medium pace bowler.
