Yes exactly. Steyn and Wade wouldn't have gotten close to the side otherwise. Tbh Steyn might still not even be among the best XI of T20 players that have been at the Stars but he was a big name so he got in.

If it was based on Stars performances only then Luke Wright would have been one of the first picked

I was watching Amazon documentary on The Test and have finished 4 episodes.
My question is have MCG / SCG become road in recent years or they were always like this ? Because Australian team clearly was unhappy with the pitch and were disappointed when they lost the toss .Or this is just an excuse by them as they are no longer the team they used to be in past .

Just want honest opinion (Like Langer?)
Didn't know where to ask .
