Pretty good idea though the difference in quality between the 2 spin pairs is pretty huge. Here's my take:

1) Haynes
2) Greenidge
3) Worrell
4) Weekes
5) Walcott
6) Kallis
7) Boucher
8) Kumble
9) Harbhajan
10) Wasim
11) Waqar
5 West Indians and 5 W's. Huh.

I thought of Murali-Herath but considered that cheating as they didn't play enough together and weren't really known as a combo. Murali-Vaas, perhaps.

A West Indian partnership XI:
Haynes
Greenidge
Worrell
Weekes
Walcott
Sobers
Murray
Marshall
Garner
Ramadhin
Valentine

Australia:
Lawry
Simpson
Bradman
McCabe
Archie Jackson
Miller
Tallon
Gillespie
McGrath
O'Reilly
Grimmett

Felt inclined to include Bradman. Could go Ponting-Waugh-Waugh. Openers could be Ponsford and Woodfull, or Hayden-Langer.

The 3W’s was what had me thinking of partnerships and groups outside of the usual opening batsmen and bowlers...but then I didn’t include them.
I also tried to get a variety of eras in each side.
Kind of like some of the combinations coming through though

International Captain
All Time Fielding XI

Bob Simpson (c, 4)
Tillekeratne Dilshan (5)
Mark Waugh (6)
Colin Bland
Jonty Rhodes
Derek Randall
Eknath Solkar (7)
Learie Constantine (1)
Roger Harper (3)
George Lohmann (2)
Bob Taylor (w)

This side was selected purely on fielding ability with little regard for batting or bowling calibre, but I have tried to ensure all players are roughly where one would expect in the batting order.

Spofforth was known for his athletic fielding too whilst Grace took more catches than many a team's 'keeper.
