Well, when you put it like that...Faulkner should bat 3 in that side for mine. He never really had a consistent batting position, but he averaged 69 at number 3, hit two of his four Test hundreds there including a career best 204 in Australia and scored 50 or more in six of his nine innings in the position. Fair to say he probably enjoyed it, unlike Kallis who was always reluctant to bat there.
