Bowl-outs being clearly independent to Twenty20 - it's a completely separate subject and IMO should have been put in CC.

Yeah sure, Twenty20 is the only format in which the bowl-out is used, tieing it directly to the tournament, particularly as that bowl-out took place during the tournament. Why should it have been put in CC? It was about Twenty20 cricket and the Twenty20 tournament, so this forum was an appropriate place.

Umpiring bans, again, completely a separate issue to the tournament itself. That, too, should have been posted on CC.

No, the umpiring bans directly affected the tournament, as those umpires were banned from officiating during the tournament. Twenty20 sub-forum was again the appropriate and most relevant forum, although some discussion in CC would have been good.

One of those threads are already case-studied above, the T2IBS thread is just that - a show of apathy, not interest, and the avatar challenge thread is basically just an extension of the avatar-challenge thread in general. It didn't really need a separate thread, but once cdm did one I thought I might as well frequent it.

They were just extra threads you'd posted in that were related to Twenty20 and this tournament, which you showed interest in with a variety of posts and comments.

Not so; I did not once mention "Twenty20 specialists will enhance England's chances and I care about this" or indeed anything to run parrallell.

I have seen bowl-outs used in matches other than Twenty20s before, and there's been stipulation in the rules of several tournaments for their use too. The bowl-out debate is not something that pertains purely to Twenty20. If it was, I naturally would not have cared less about it.

It directly affected the tournament, yes, but it also affected other things. So long as something does not pertain exclusively to one tournament\series, the general, universal Cricket Chat forum is the best place for it.

They weren't related to showing an interest in Twenty20, however. One - the T2IBS thread - was related purely to bashing it; the other was related to trying to influence avatar challenges, which once again, could quite easily have just been put in a continuation of the normal avatar-challenge thread. In fact, I'd quite like to see the WC, Ashes and this avatar-challenge thread merged with said thread, TBH.

The bet was made for all to see, so anybody should be allowed to bring it up and challenge you on it. What's the point of making a bet on a public forum otherwise?

Especially when it concerns something as serious as this. D'you know how long I've had my avatar for? There's no way on Earth I'm ever losing it, unless the boss were to ban it or something.
