Which is more important in test cricket?

  • Economy rate

  • Strike Rate

Economy doesn't matter at all imo, as average and S/R already account for the economy rate.

Economy= (average/strike rate)*6
So, if two bowlers have nearly same average, the bowler with the lower S/R will have a higher economy (re:- Dale Steyn, Rabada etc.) and vise versa (re:- Lance Gibbs).
Same would work out if two bowlers S/R are almost same.
WPM or WPI should have been in the poll.
