Apparently batsmen scored off Trueman at 49.43 runs per over and Trueman got batsmen out every 2.6 balls. What's more, Trueman scored 981 test runs, facing only 382 deliveries. His batting strike rate is almost as otherworldly as his bowling one, 256.8.
