Yeah considered picking Alderman myself and probably should have done to help out the balance of my test side which has a fairly ordinary bowling attack.

This is tough, do I pick a recognised test opening batsman or a gun ODI bowler. Think I will go the latter. Don't let me down at the top Hashim.

Possibly dropping Pietersen for Streak in ODI as I didn't realise he had gotten so crap lately. Kind of wish I picked Inzi instead now.

Weldone picks Ian Chappell by my count, and that has us done.

I suppose it'd only be fair to wait a few days to see if those who kept getting skipped (Cabinet, smalishah, Teja, Prez) feel like completing their sides.

I agree, I'll start the test voting thread in a couple of days. Do we want to vote for top 6 say or vote on ALL teams (1-13)?

Top three usually works. In this case you'd have to count up the votes manually (one top three for Tests, one top three for ODIs) so I'd avoid making a ton of work for yourself.

I hear what you are saying just thinking that maybe I should count at least 4 or 5 to reward those who have a balanced side for both forms over those who just have a gun side from one. Otherwise the best test team is likely to win and make the ODI irrelevant.

Have two votes. Basically top three test sides and top three ODI sides. Once they list them out, just total up the points.

So we need 3 threads - one for players to tout their teams and then two voting threads. Do we usually use a poll or just have players list their votes in a post?

Don't bother with the one to tout their team. If people were doing that it'd be done here.

I'd stick to just one thread and ask people to vote by each post, e.g. everyone makes a post saying:

Best Test team
2nd best Test team
3rd best test team

Best ODI team
2nd best ODI team
3rd best ODI team

Basically what Howe said above. One thread would do.
