(Not saying playing Warne was simple, just that it would have been come up often and to be a good player of spin you probably need to be competent against the main opposition)

Not only this, but he was excellent at it. A much better player of spin (other than Warne) than he was of pace.
I don't know, I think he was pretty good against pace. In that 1994 game where Devon Malcolm blew SA away Cullinan was the only guy he didn't get, with Cullinan also just missing out on a ton.

In my opinion he was SA's best batter in the 1990s.
