Test Cricket Draft

In the meanwhile, would be great if kingkallis could proofread it and tell us if there are any typos left or not.
Aha, we've arrived at the crux of the matter. I think the next step to take is to report kk's post to the mods using the report feature which appears somewhere on the left hand side of the offending post. How dare he point out a typo that you made!!

Following this, I think it's prudent for the bloke who picked "Alex Stewart" to be henceforth reminded of this incident by a "Name and Shame" section in every "list post" that follows. This section should be included whenever anyone makes a pick hence maintaining the integrity of both Alec Stewart's name and also of this prestigious draft.

Handbags at dawn everyone!!

I think the draft has run it's course. The participants have preferred whining over following the simplest rule ever known to mankind. Nothing's gonna work out. It's a dead end. I'm out. Good luck with whatever is left of it.

I think we should go on picking the way we were doing with someone occasionally updating the list.

Around 12 hours gone by; I'm picking David Gower for this round

1. Graham Gooch
2.
3.
4. Javed Miandad
5. David Gower
6.
7. Andrew Flintoff
8.
9. Richard Hadlee
10. Joel Garner
11.

Most of those participants have been involved in a number of drafts already on this forum so know a thing or two about how best to run them. I don't think suggesting that the list be updated 1-2 times per page is an unreasonable proposal. But I do think it'd be a shame if a minor disagreement meant you pulled out of the running of your own draft.

Hey, firstly this isn't my first draft. Regardless of that, I was happily doing the whole updating the list thing before some smartass came along deciding to be anal about spellings and what not. The only solution to that was everyone puts their own player in the list and we continue like that, but no that was too tedious.

Either ways, this isn't fun anymore. I hope this thing gets to it's end and kingkallis enjoys his perfect spellings.

Another decent idea for a solution would be to edit the spelling

Aldo calm down please. Everyone lets move on with the draft rather than get involved in petty arguments.

Thanks Somerset, but more than being angry I am frustrated from moles being turned into mountains. This isn't gonna work if people can't cooperate with a small thing like updating the list. So good luck. Apologies before hand to kingkallis, if that post had any typos.

Mate, calm down. This is a forum. Most of us don't know each other. Most people can take a bit of ****-stirring, but if you can't, fair enough.

As a point of interest, you are the one that turned a "mole" in to a "mountain". You could have laughed at KK, or ignored it, but instead you decided to enforce difficult rules on everyone that aren't required.

As you can see, people don't want to update the list every time they pick, it's unnecessary, it clogs up the thread for reading, and it's hard to do from some devices. As I said, I will happily update it regularly for everyone.

What we need to know is if you intend to keep running the thread, and participating, or not. If you pull out, there is probably another person who will take over from you. I hope you will stay, but if you decide not to, meh!
