Guys: do you think in this situation that AZH must pick from YK or Smith? I really don't know.
Smith. The order of picks hasn’t changed.

You have to trust that AZH hasn’t just waited for me ti make my pick because he didn’t fancy anyone that overlapped with YK and thought he might get a better option now.

The alternative is that if he has to pick from YK, then everyone could wait until the exact moment they time out to make their pick and force the person after them to effectively take the ‘second best’ option for the same player.

If people are going to try and exploit the rules to that extent then more power to them.

In this situation, just play on imo.

We'll go with this then. AZH to pick from Smith.

I feel the integrity of this draft is compromised when participants are timed out. Also, it is unfortunate that some selections aren't accompanied by career starting and ending dates. On top of that, I didn't think current players could be selected as their careers don't have an end date. Enough of my grumbles but these aspects are a bit disappointing.

Sorry, yes Himannv timed out, you get YK.
The way the forum reads now it is Smith . I also feel the Time outs is causing more harm than good . I feel we should keep to the rule 12 hour window however if you time out , you forfeit game and the cricketers you picked goes back into the pool . We all want to run this as quickly as possible and the way the current timeout works it can be used to benefit or manipulate things in your favor , not that I'm saying it is just saying it brings in that question.

No, let's not kick people out. There can be things like work, family, technology, travel, health, social life etc that make drafters miss a pick.

I understand people's frustrations, but I also see this as much more of a random/less strategic draft as we can't think a few picks ahead as we don't even know which decade/s we'll be in.
