I reckon you should set a minimum value of $1 per bid, so players can't get away with leaving themselves $0.15 or something for the final rounds.

I agree with $1 minimum bid but players can't get away with 0.15 because they'll most probably get hit with a penalty for which they'll have no money. Or they will have to choose obscure players who might lose them votes.

Yeah. With bids being made in decimals the minimum bid value for any player is $1. So avoid any chindi (tiny) bids.
