That's a good idea mate, I was thinking about it and also have one for the team submmision as well.
And the only people that would know about the bets would be the e-mail that goes to the chosen e-mail address, which if you wantted to impliment this bugssy then I could send the e-mail to your personal address rather than the board's one

Well, this has nothing to do with betting..
But it involves money..
Although it would be too complicated (probably) it would be interesting to give each team earnings etc that the managers have to spend on players etc, make them sign contracts.. so when they are out of contract other teams have a chance to poach them??
Of course, this can lead to bad situations too, so it'd have to be regulated heavily, and would probably be too complicated to implement, but hey, who knows?
Its sort of similar to the draft, but you'd have that too, just drop the people out of contract, if nobody wants to pay good money for them, then onto the draft they go??

Although technically you wouldn't have to decide prices, as the market forces of supply and demand would work these out.. I mean, if you have a certain amount you want to pay, then thats all well and good, however if someone else wants more, then they pay more, at first it could be tough, but given time it'd work...
Although the logistics of the venture are still mind boggling, I guess after a couple of seasons when people see how players fare etc etc, it might be easier
you'd also have to regulate it to make it hard for people to poach, say they have to offer 10% more than the team who currently has them.....
