Sussex League Cricket Club Seeks Overseas Players

lpcc

Cricket Spectator
Hello,

First things first. My name is Cal and I represent an English club cricket side called Lewes Priory Cricket Club.

LPCC is based in Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, located about ten miles from the city of Brighton and Hove and around an hour and a half from Londo. We are a historically successful club that places an emphasis on playing positive cricket and enjoying the game.

We are currently looking for overseas players to bolster our ranks for the upcoming 2014 season.

Unfortunately, we aren't in a position to be able to make a financial commitment to a visiting professional for an entire season so we are looking for players who are planning on visiting the UK for reasons other than purely cricketing and who want to experience playing English cricket while they are here. However we will gladly do anything we can to help you make the most of your time in England and would be delighted to discuss your needs.

We have a young, talented 1stXI competing at a good standard in the Sussex League but we're on the hunt for players with the drive and talent to help us to greater success. If you or anyone that you know think that you fit the bill and you want to spend the English summer the very best way imaginable, then drop me a DM and let's talk.

All the very best and thanks so much for reading,

Cal

Sorry to intrude your thread. But having played in Sussex last year on tour I must say I'd be willing to join your club for free if you were looking for low skill beginner players from the continent :)

If you pay for my flights and accomodation, I'll play as much cricket* as you want for 3-4 weeks.

* Provided I get at least ten days within the 3-4 weeks to travel where I want.

I'm keen. My ability as a player can best be described as a combination of Jesse Ryder and Chris Martin.

I bat and field like Martin and get drunk and smash things up like Ryder.

My blood type is O and my beer type is ale (you'll need to know both of those).
