Support SA mainly because I was there when I started to become interested in cricket, watching the Donald's, Pollocks and Rhodes's.... I dislike people who chop and change who they support when the circumstances suit them, so its SA all the way, win, lose or tie, no matter who they play.. Get a little bit confused by people who support teams they have no physical connection with, but whatever floats the boat I guess.. I'm also fond of Kenya, Zimbabwe and Namibia because I'd like to see a stronger power base of African cricket in general..

I used to support Australia when I was a kid, mainly because I liked their kits. I was like that, always supporting the team that wore the coloured clothing during football matches where I had no clue who was who, as opposed to the team wearing white.

But as I watched more games, most of them being Indian, there came a sense of attachment to the ones whose progress I followed for quite a while. I guess that's the way it is for most sports fans.

With regards to the EPL, I used to love watching Gianfranco Zola play, so I guess I was a Chelsea supporter for a while. Then I saw Di Canio score that screamer of a scissors kick, and decided football was best viewed with an unbiased mind. Didn't last long though, as I started disliking the bigger teams, and found the player I was most like in the way I played football. Duncan Ferguson (fat and slow, but still gun ).

The rest is history.
