Hmm why is it when England play conservatively they still manage to almost hand wickets on a plate to the opposition?

but why not murli on yet
Good question. My theory is that Jayawardene knows that Murali could go through Flintoff & beyond like a dose of salts, so he's hoping that a couple of wickets fall to the others before bringing him on, rather than risking wasting him against batsmen who are less likely to perish. If Bell & KP scored more freely against Dilshan & Jaya then he'd have to reconsider, but as things are the RRR is rising nicely from an SL pov, so he probably thinks it's a sound tactic at present.

EDIT Plus he's left the field looking injured, which may have rather more to do with it.

Bell could be gone here. Unlucky if he is, Jayasuriya deflects it on & the bat looks in the air.

EDIT:Yup, unlucky. Bell run out. :(

Is any other Sky viewer having trouble with these TV replay decisions? The one they just showed didn't feature the bat at all, so while Nasser was saying 'the bat is off the ground' I couldn't see it - and in an earlier match they showed a side-on view that didn't include the wicket. Do I need widescreen or something?

Press the "Services" button, go into "System Settings", and play around with your screen type. Try switching between 16:9, 4:3 and 4:3L. Should work. :)

ffs the running between the wickets is rubbish today.

Bell's laziness really pisses me off, that's exactly the sort of thing I was on about with our top order finding pathetic ways of getting out when they're not really taking any risks with their batting.
