I don't care whether Jon Lewis or Plunkett plays, they can both be effective. Mahmood is useless in all situations and Jayasuriya is just going to laugh if Saj plays, followed shortly by Sanath smacking him for a boundary and Mahmood falling apart shortly after.

Mahmood is indeed ****e but his a considerably better death bowler than either Lewis or Plunkett, who maybe able to swing the new ball but he does little else.

Based on what exactly? Plunkett usually bowls overs 35-45 and is pretty decent then. Saj is useless whenever he bowls. Death overs are generally expensive anyway, so his bowling looks better relatively speaking then because other people are getting hammered as well. Swinging the white ball is a large part of ODI cricket, so even that alone makes them a useful bowler for ODI cricket. They're both miles better options than Saj.

England do have real match winners in KP, Freddie, Collingwood, Bell and a very good bowling combination in Anderson/Lewis/ Plunkett /Flintoff /Monty +/- Bopara.

This is hardly the bowling attack that SL faced when they won 5-0 .

Over confidance by SL could lead to their downfall.
I would hope they play Atapattu instead of Arnold.
I have changed my mind wrt playing Bandara. SL must play Murali, but hope some of the English Batters don't take to him like Chanderpaul and clobber him for 4-5 sixers as Chanders did the other day...With regard to Dilhara and Maharoof -the decision is a bit difficult, but possibly Dilhara should be given another game ...

Sir Vivian Richards stadium, Antigua should offer better batting conditions , but the weather which has started playing a hand in these games and M/S Duckworth and Jon Lewis may have a part to play again.... Arnold is no more of an allrounder than Jayawardene IMO. Sure he may bowl more, but his bowling is by no means better. One of the worst semi-regular bowlers I've ever seen in ODIs.
