Don't understand why Murali and Jayasuriya aren't on at the moment, SL need wickets big time but they are bowling Mahroof and Dilshan.

Playing for NRR?
Seems like they've been playing for NRR since early on given the negative field placements.

I've only glanced at the Cricinfo thing so didn't know about the field placements. Seems they only had 4 men in the ring for Murali but 5 for Dilshan!

Odd given the importance of the game. I guess SL have looked at the fixtures and backed themselves against Ireland, England, West Indies and they'll go through with 4 wins if their NRR isn't too shoddy.

And as I type, Murali gets Gibbs. I should be an international cricket captain, and not just on the game.

Justin Kemp is so limited, maybe able to tonk Mickey Mouse tosh but against genuine pace or decent slow bowlers his useless.

Yeah what is Kemp's role in the team.He only gets a bowl when SA are comfortably winning and he usually bats at 7 with limited success in recent times. For all his supposed big hitting ability he's strike rate is only in the low 70s and he doesn't rotate the strike that well. He's place in the team must now be under question IMO.

South Africa have made hard work of this, completely dominated the game but they are limping home here.

Saffies can't bowl at the death, can't bat at the death, the match was boring and nerve-wracking at the same time, and the top batsmen suffer from cramps two matches in a row. Something dire going on in our camp.:ranting:  :wallbash: :mad2: :censored:
