Hard to disagree with that...I'm not tipping the Hurricanes to go far at all tbh
Despite the combination of results that saw them miss the knock out stages of the competition, it has to be considered a successful season for the Brumbies - personally I was predicting them to struggle and only better the Rebels at the beginning of the season, so the work of Jake White to turn the Brumbies around and come within a whisker of a home minor semi final deserves recognition. Funny that it was the Blues, who couldn't beat a single New Zealand franchise, that destroyed their playoff chances.Remember the Holmes penalty goal that missed by about a centimeter in Canberra when the Brumbies played the Reds which was the last kick of the game. Me neither.
In seriousness though it was a good solid season for the Brumbies. Very much reminded me of the 2010 Reds who just missed finals. They'll be better for it next year, and far as I can tell are keeping most of their players (bar Hooper who has committed career suicide)
Sorry I forgot to mention that as per usual, all semi finals are worth 2 points, and the final's worth 3 points. Doesn't have much impact on the standings though as only Quaggas went against the trend (and successfully so).We going double points for these predictions?
Also a lame game between Crusaders and Bulls. Crusaders ruthlessly efficient. They should win the whole, comp. They have a couple of extra gears they can lift their game too.
I don't think the Sharks can repeat that performance. They were absolutely pumped for the game and played at 150% intensity for the first half. Reds forgot it was a playoff game and got taken by surprise.Sorry I forgot to mention that as per usual, all semi finals are worth 2 points, and the final's worth 3 points. Bulls were really poor, disappointing that the match was basically over by halftime. The Sharks on the other hand were quite outstanding in the first half and then defended incredibly well for basically the entire second half to score a surprising away knockout victory. I think Liam Gill should've been awarded a try, and that would've made for a more interesting final 20 minutes; but no doubt that the Sharks deserved their win.
