Some thrilling games this last 24 hours! WCC beating Jura CC quite an upset, but it seems like JCC went in understrength. Two thrilling wins in the T20 league for the CW Oceania team tho, which is good to see.

Solid win for ZCC in the T20 today over Jan CC. Won by 7 wickets after restricting them to just 139/9 bowling first away from home. Didn't win by a big enough margin to secure the bonus point, but happy to get those 4 points anyways.

GG CC got clobbered by a team named Karachi in the T20 league today.

Bowling first, they were on the receiving end of some devastating batting. Javed Sadiq clobbered 69 (nice) off 45 balls, while Zahid Jamal made 57 off 32 balls as Karachi amassed 199 for 5 off their 20 overs. Roger Attlee was the pick of the bowlers with 1 for 18 off his overs....the other bowler picked up a wicket apiece, but they were all expensive.

Replying, GG lost their captain Levy off the first ball of the innings, Bram Human (28) and Jayraj De Souza (68) put on 94 for the second wicket. Once Bram Human fell, wickets were lost at regular intervals, and GG's innings were done and dusted in the 17th over; falling short of the target by 51 runs.

This was GG's 2nd loss in as many matches this season. They are yet to come off the blocks.

As with Mooo, I will be revamping the GG team by selling a few guys and firing the rest. The core of the team is strong, nevertheless.

Its been interesting reading on the stumped forum about team building and youth pull. Apparently I`ve been pretty damn lucky.
I`ve pulled since end of May when I joined.
Liam Levy: 48 potential bat, opener with strike rotator.
Anthony Davidson: 46 potential bat.
Todii Mthombeni: 44 potential bat, 17 wk. (Was my first accidental pick!)

Problem is none of them are decent fielders... but not gonna complain to much!

Yeah, I've been digging through the forum for hints and tips and it's invaluable. The guys and gals there are so passionate about this management game.

I am coming into this game with a Madden Football mindset....that's why I try to keep building on the youths and throwaway the deadweights.

FHK is all homegrown atm and has 6 batters with 42+ pot, 4 of whom are 18 or younger, and 8 bowlers of 42+ pot, 6 of whom are 19 or younger. Real golden generation atm. Will be lucky if the team is ever this strong again once their careers are done.

I timed the ZCC re-building very poorly. Let go of some seniors who could have played on a bit longer, and relied excessively on one generation of players who are only now coming of age. I did this just as all the old regions got merged, so I was in a much stronger Div 1 but with a weaker younger team. I was doomed for relegation. That was a big mistake. Every effort should have gone into securing my Div 1 spot across the leagues in the first season of the new region, I could have put off the rebuilding a bit longer. Ah well. Time to work our way back up.

I may have a clash tomorrow...playing two games at the same time and I don't have 22 players to produce two teams.

Has this ever happened to anyone here before? What do I do?

you can play the same players in two matches simultaneously. the game allows it. I've done it before as well.

Canonically tho it will be a bit hard to explain to your fans how that's happening.

That's a relief...In a move of panic...I just upped the bid of one James Webb to over $100K and still can't get him because I'm outbid all the time....

3 games tomorrow and I'm stoked.

The fans can do some quantum tunneling to watch both matches simultaneously.

So Mooo about to embark on their new journey with mostly youngsters...a building process.

First up is a T20 league game against bottom dwellers, the Corellians. In their last game, they were shot out for 45. Their NRR took a hit (-7.15)
I am hoping dominate them.
