Wow, WCC get an excellent 2-wicket win! My 242-8 was a lowish total on a good pitch. Jan du Preez (75 off 68) and Bobby Shaffrey and Kurt Murdoch with 49 apiece were the stars. Some excellent economical bowling from Ayaz Latif and Jayraj Chandrasekaran.

Winton posted up a century opening partnership but their response went downhill from there, to 168-6 and 193-7. Liam Evans didn't give up however and continued his excellent Fr. OD record with 73* (58). Chandrasekaran supported him well with 27 (19) and WCC snuck home with 9 balls to spare. Juan Goliath's 3-51 was an excellent performance in unhelpful conditions but wasn't enough for AXI in an awesome game.

CWC3 is going to be really competitive!

Back to back losses for FHK :( 171 batting first on that deck was just about par, really needed new-ball wickets but didn't get them. Ivan Lam bowled better in his 2nd spell, spinners did alright, but WCC had enough batting depth to see them home. Nathan Law was excellent with 80 off 85 but lacked support. Lai O Yin a useful 30* but he's not much of a batter.

There is certainly a 'top' tier and then Mooo

Peter Sutherland is definitely a player to look out for.

In the 1970 match, he top-scored for GG CC with 73(63) and took 2 for 50 with the ball. He performs in every match he's been in.

Talismanic.

Darn, got a bad scout. A few more batting potential and he'd be good, being a late bloomer with good fielding/keeping and stamina. But he's not there.
