It is clearly a bug. I notified Rob about it a month or so ago. I expect he will fix it when he gets the time - when that will be, I don't know.

For the time being, for anyone who wants to run a friendly comp, I'd suggest doing it the old school way of teams issuing challenges etc.

I am a bit concerned by the possibility that Rob returns and fixes the bug while our manual CWC10 is in progress. That could get a bit messy and confusing

We could just delay CWC10 until Rob returns. I can try to ping him on Facebook

Such a void being felt; it’s disappointing. We’re in 2024 & a site that takes money from people to play its game(yes, we all have affiliates)…one would expect that there’s a plans A,B,C,…all the way to zed if there’s anything wrong with it. Instead, we have to wait for one person to fix this ****.

You may be a bit tongue in cheek her... but this is not a professional setup; that implies he makes monies. Getting monies from us for basic upkeeps like servers is not a money making scheme. This is a man who has devised an engine that few people could do, who spends his occasional spare time to keeping a site going for a bunch of nerds. He has no need for this. He obviously has a family and his own work. He does it because he obviously does care about what he produced and about the base that exists. If you want the service you are expecting then we all need to start paying 10 dollars a month to try hire some assistant/intern programmer to work on the site 2 days a week at discount rates....

I have often considered trying to learn the language that Stumped is written in and offer some help with development at no charge. But life is busy enough as it is...
