Looking at the coming fixtures outside chance TMO could replace FHK @cnerd123 at 3... could be a big decider match in the final round!

https://www.stumpedgame.com/player.php?Player=240654 – wow

Hats off to FHK making the world top 25, twelve ranking points shy of 1,000. A genuinely impressive feat for a homegrown side, and it surely hasn't peaked yet.

BTW SCC, I think that the Expert Preview doesn't take into account the strength of orders. So if you swap your side around, keep keepers keeping and bowlers bowling but make the batsman bat in the tail, death bowlers sending it down in the powerplay, etc., performance will plummet but the ExP will stay at the same level.
Congrats! Cracking the top 25

Yes, that sounds reasonable

Cheers, but tbf FHK is a bit of a pseudo HG side. We have a lot of players who transferred in from ZCC for 1k - Ivan Lam and Jamal Madani the notable ones in our senior squad, while a couple of former ZCC kids have been keeping our Dev XI afloat.

I'm even considering expanding this policy to cover every player to have played a CWC game for any team  Make this club a real safe haven for everyone's rejects...

So I bought a 31 year old 32/42 bat with 15 keeping, 20 exp and $8.8k wages. Turned him into a groundsman for ZCC.

He wound up having 0 Adjustment skill but 20 consistency, and is now costing me $10k a week.

FFS. How hard is it to get a regular 7/7 skilled groundsman or smth lol.

I really wanted Ramsay also. Looks like the Dinos will get him. On the bright side, not sure I'd like an Aussie named Cameron in my team...

ZCC have just splashed 1.2 mill on a 16 YO with 46 bat potential, who also bowls Wrist Spin with 39 potential (13 acc 19 var). Strike Rotator, can't really field, but will be a useful addition to the side. Tim Chester ageing out of Dev leaves us with only Abdul Younis for spin duties, so Chamath Jayetileke will help fill the gap, and he will also be a boost to our batting lineup.

Needs plenty of training and game time, but I think we can fit him in.

haha mate you got to start saving

i'm quite uncomfortable going below 2mill in my bank account, but I figured I really needed one more decent young batter and this player can bowl some spin too, so i went for it. Need to go back into austerity mode. Not going to be able to afford the next Raun Shkorer if I keep spending like this!

So I built the TMO squad saved up to 1.2 M... but since dropping back into 3rd div I can only about break even every second week or so... hence the importance of getting back into second and going into 1st div dev (2nd dev as been a god send) with a decent squad and staying for as long as I can. Because I cannot afford my squad off 3rd div earnings.

unless you get lucky with transfers I think it's pretty hard to save up more than about 200-250k a season

hmm, Hlengwa managed decent PP hitting commiserations Marcuss, but T20 is a volatile format and you're only slightly off the pack. An example of that volatility can be seen by comparing the Astronauts' propensity at bonus-point gathering in that T20 division and in CWC5. fyi gambhiring doesn't work on Stumped.

AXI played a Dev friendly against FHK. Both sides were weakened by players aging out; Shawn Dee turned 22 yesterday, an age which it seems like half of FHK is. The home team brought up a respectable total (190-7) headlined by Andy Li's career HS 71 (75). Li's sure coming along, a great Nat prospect for Bangladesh. Ted Hui took a couple of wickets up top, as Ibrahim Zahid continued his rich vein of Dev form with 53 (58). Then, Rusty simply took apart the attack. Zac Chambers brought up his belated first Dev friendly fifty in some style. He was on 32, with 14 runs required to win, and hit three consecutive sixes. Player.

AXI are sitting 6th/2nd/6th in our divisions, which is urgh. Hopefully we do manage a div 1 placing next season in one of the senior formats.

We’re a chance to stay up but are playing teams above us and teams around us are playing each other so at least one of them is guaranteed to pick up points each week. It’ll be a close run thing.

Need a miracle to promote in SOD

Famous last words but should be safe in DEV as we are improving each week whilst teams around us are losing players aging out.

would find it very hard to stay engaged if we were in Div 3 for all 3 comps next season
