Good results for FHK and ZCC in the Dev league yesterday. FHK able to field a virtually full-strength team, benefitting from the fact that we play a Bot in the T20 tomorrow. Comfortable ratings edge and 7 wicket win, puts us in 3rd place right behind the team we just beat! Moooo sitting strong in 1st tho - what a season they young calves are having! @SillyCowCorner1 could be the 3rd ever CWC manager (behind Jan and myself) to make it to Div 1 if this keeps up!

ZCC had a more interesting game. Seems like our opponents forgot to set their orders, with 10 players bowling 4 overs each. This allowed us to amass 319/6 in just 40 overs. However there was clearly quite a bit of talent in that team, as they batted out their 40 and scored 268 in response! No bonus point for us, tho we still manage to slip into 3rd place for the time being.

Some good friendly matches lined up for today, with ZCC and FHK each fielding 22 players across their two matches. ZCC playing two T20s, fielding a U25 side vs Dynamo Morpork and the rest of the squad against TMO. Meanwhile FHK have tried to split their 22 contracted players into two equally strong XIs for SOD games vs Plymouth Pirates and JoJo. They hit 45k vs the Pirates, winning by a comfortable 156 runs. Let's see how the side vs JoJo goes. 2 wins today will help pocket a few CW ratings points, with more games lined up in the week aimed at arresting this drastic slide down the rankings!

The young Dynamo bowlers have bowled dry and we won't chase more than 140. But the Dom Dom ground is pretty friendly for spinners in its current worn state so every chance Chester & Ramalingam wreak havoc.

pretty pleased with her tbh, knuckled down and ground out an innings of substance on a tough pitch.

Jed Aye picking up 3 boundaries easy as you like off Bashir in the 3rd over, Morpork off and away in the chase. Meanwhile young keeper Rehman drops a tough chance off Wong in the 2nd over. Not a great start in both games heh.
