Q: what will the seeding be based on? The inter-CW rankings are probably a better measure than the WRs considering I'm #2 out of CW teams by the world rankings lol. (Vaguely odd given I'm 6th in division 2 T20, 3rd in division 3 SOD and out of the Cup, but whatever.)

The expert reckons it will be a close match between Jura and Free HK today - all nip and tuck except for their superior fielding....

We have got off to a middling start 65 for 2 off 16 overs - I suspect both teams will feel of a muchness with that (glass half full/half empty scenario)!

What is nice is that it is the first time we have ever got 10,000 in our newly extended ground ... what isn't so nice is we won't earn a bean for that!!

Surely there ought to be something - just a little thing for taking the trouble to play friendlies in Stumped. That would recognise that this brings life and energy to the game in terms of participation, communication and enhanced interest.

I'm just saying the smallest thing to maybe secondary elements - such as Gate income 1% of the norm , or a 1 % improvement to experience or touch for example? Something to encourage people to play friendlies - which must surely be a goal of the game?

Dare I write that in suggestions - although I kind of know Suggestions is an elephant's graveyard in terms of anyone who can influence these things going in and reading them... Writing a suggestion is rather like '*issing' in the wind !

I have 36 suggestions (all of my 2 squad members!! ) - they are probably actually not worth that in total - you could buy both grounds , in fact the whole island of Jura including the whisky distillery for that!

Solid stuff from the Dynamo bowlers today, James Fraser's medium pace cheating out 4.3-0-5-4 for Schmaltzberg a highlight, although Van Heerdens taking four wickets and being there at the end to clinch first place was also enjoyable.

If GG CC had more runs in their kitty, it would have been a bit more interesting.

I've been BD Assistant Nat manager for a while, and might have done some Nat management in the early early days of stumped too. So not completely new.

The scouting is the hardest bit tbh. Identifying talent. Need to make some time now to do some through research and identify Nat quality players for the next 5 seasons or so

Morpork beat TMO after van Heerdens and Mthabela suddenly decided to go berserk at 90 for 5, putting together more runs in less time than all the other batsmen combined. Extremely fortunate escape.

Schmaltzberg has put up 222/7 against ataraXIa, which might be enough, the wicket has a lot in it for the bowlers - another vigil for Kurusumuttu and friendly specialist Manning bashed some boundaries at the end

Good win in the CWC, lol at Kotze smashing 48 (31). Through to the playoffs, feeling somewhat confident about this Dev lineup.

Snared Daniel Rowan off the TM from Morpork for only $1K, he replaces moderate downgrade Nicky Clift (35 skill bat, 24yo), who goes on the TM himself.
