T20 vs FHK: very good opening partnership between Rusty Frost (53 off 35), and Bobby Shaffrey, who has been far and away my best T20 bat (74 off 59). Few quick wickets then Murdoch joined up with Shaffrey and smashed 28 (12). More quick wickets, before Jasper Davey managed a 4 and a 6 off the last two deliveries. 179-7 is under par on a 2 wear pitch, but I still harbour hope that I can win against FHK again after 9 consecutive losses.

Another good win. Tam Tak-chi was sublime on senior debut, hitting 7 boundaries in his 40 (31) but ultimately no one supported him. A meme last-wicket partnership of 31 (15) between Pong Nam and Joshua Wong briefly brought the game back into contention but they fell 16 runs short. Smashing Lai for 53 was key to the win.

a Bangla with a batting average of 51 popped up in my NZ-oriented scouting report. He inevitably turned out to have a batting potential of... 26.

However, there is some good news. He's a 22/41 spinner. Which isn't spread out very well, only 10 accuracy. But what is very interesting is his fielding. 17 pot + bullet arm. I'll weigh up whether to keep him or Zimbo Shingirai Ndaba.

No one wanted him, so he was fired. I should really have learnt my lesson to not pull Bangladesh, but when a guy with an average of 58, also a keeper, came up, it was impossible to resist. Batting potential of... 29. 19 keeping potential ain't going to save that.

So there was a wicket-keeper from Bangladesh who averaged 3.24 catches per match, I decided to pull him and it turns out he was maxed out with his keeping skill: 5/5

His batting was ****. His bowling was a tad better but I already have guys in the bowling department.

For the past two weeks my preference has been NZ, but I still pulled a 'very good' Bangladeshi player. Hopefully the unlucky streak comes to a finish soon...

Moooo currently playing a 50 over friendly against GG CC.

For the first time, Mooo are rated higher than GG. 44.5K to 42K.

GG are batting first, and they have started with intent. Run rate hovering around 6 for most of the innings. Levy with 86…but it was de Villiers who was the one who put the foot on the pedal after Bram Human was run out in the first over. De Villiers made 42(31). Peter Sutherland made a run a ball 62.

GG are currently 266/7 with two and a half overs remaining…it’s definitely not Tom Toogood’s day. He’s conceded 80+ runs with an over left to bowl.

The run chase might be an interesting one.

Tindall smacked an unbeaten 134 earlier in the day and he is red hot…there’s also Aat Bernstein, who only last week was in GG’s squad.
