I can understand monk choosing kapil over botham, even though beefy, too, fits into his team of aggressors. kapil was a cracking late order test batsman with a SR of over 80. so it makes sense. but why did you choose peter pollock over ian botham? not that peter pollock is not an ATG but, over Botham????

Yeah, surprised too. Botham in his early peak of 50 odd tests had extraordinary bowling stats, so compares well with Peter there. But overall, perhaps, Peter could be considered a better bowler, even though we didn't get to see how it all would have turned out. He couldn't even play the World Series.
