Mulder will definitely play, shuks has made comments that he considers him the most important player to balance the team. rickelton is undroppable after his 200 so will play. de zorzi miss out if everyone is fit, if temba isn't he bats 3 and everyone else shifts a spot down.
Paterson/Coetzee comes down to the pitch, shuks does like pace.
For now I presume keshav will be fit.

Bedingham, Verreynne, Muthusamy, Williams & Maphaka have central contracts for the first time.

Miller & vd Dussen have moved to hybrid contracts. Which allows them more flexibility. Whilst discussions with Klassen still continue.Obviously Nortje & Shamsi declined theirs last year but you would think they fall in this category.

Fortuin & Phehlukwayo have lost their central contracts.

How does an Injured all season williams deserve a contract, he is no spring chicken either . Shamsi is done and hopefully nortjie comes back.

I just hope they don't rush him too much and put extra pressure on him as the next big black batting hope.

I don't think he is super special yet (needs to prove it) to be jumping not being a regular and performer for Lions to getting into SA A squads.

I do like the fact that he played out the domestic season with 4-day cricket & was thinking of County Cricket before the IPL.

Well, now he is off to the IPL and it finishes in time before his contract with Hampshire starts. Win-Win.

Absolutely. Hands down, best seamer all-rounder in domestic cricket this season who can bat in the top 6/7. Consistent.

I guess people will get excited about Delano Potgieter or a Patrick Kruger type because of the T20 centric nature of cricket but Ruan is more reliable and more versatile.

Definitely.

Outside say maybe Hamza & Van Tonder who didn't make these squads the only over 23s I would be looking at are maybe the later developers with not many games under their belt in an area we short in like middle-order finishers like Connor Esterhuizen & Matthew De Villiers types.

Otherwise I'm looking at those U23s developing to step up to the A team.
