Yep - or indeed any continental championship.

(The reason is that the most recent year is weighted heavily, and the continental championships is weighted heavily compared to qualifiers, thus in a year where the Europeans play more "meaningful" matches than any other continent, they'll earn more points than the other nations. Conversely, next year, Brazil and Argentina will head back up, in early 2010 the African nations will make a jump, and in 2011 the Asians might break the top ten.

Most inconsistent player ever, main reason why he never really made it in Europe. Always has a string of awsome matches and then never scored for 2-3 months.

can't believe he didn't put away at least one of his chances in the last 15mins. Nichols almost made them pay too. Qld played pretty poorly tonight IMO, they are such a fit team and put great pressure on opponents yet their work in the final 3rd seems always to be a problem. Charlie Miller might be the man they need to provide a better link between midfield and attack.

That's season over for Sydney. Alot of work to do over the winter, firstly they need to recruit some experienced players and hopefully not lose anymore players. Kossie had a good eye for young talent in his time with Adelaide. He brought in Burns and Djite, also picked Spagnuolo from our local league after it looked like his chance had passed him. Therefore I would have confidence that Gan, Cole and the other young players will come good for Sydney if given time.

Adelaide are looking shaky for next season, at this stage we may lose: Costanzo, Sasa, Diego, Spags(done deal), Cornflakes(I hope ).

We need depth and to stop buying any average superstar on the market. Injuries have killed us from Season One. Even in season one we got lucky and got ourselves in the finals, but never had a chance at top spot due to injuries.

The sooner we build a squad, rather then build a team of so-called champions the better.

Quite annoyed/disappointed Farina wasn't able to secure the signature of Tahj Minniecon for next season. He, along with Zullo & Nichols are the best things going for the Roar. The 3 of them create so many chances on the wings/up front with their speed and dribbling ability. Hopefully Kruse can get his ass back into gear and find some form so he's fighting for a starting place again with Tahj leaving.
