Sure, but it’s more Viv’s advantage than Sober’s weakness. There is no ATG batsmen, who scores as quickly as Viv.

I normally have Sobers at 3 and Richards at 5 with Hobbs separating them.

Well as per the other thread, and the voting results, the top 7 would appear to be quite close and could go in any order, depending on preference. Bradman aside of course.

Thing about Lillee, similar to Viv is that some of his best work came in WSC and in the ROW matches (which were originally tests). But while it matters less to me that it does to others, it would have been good to see him perform outside of his comfort a bit more.

Viv didn't have those issues though, just the cliff thing at the end.

Anyways Lillee was brilliant in Aus and Eng is a bowling friendly era. Viv was ATG in both Aus and Eng, brilliant at home, and good in Asia. Far better record(especially if you consider the rate at which he did it).
