If you selectively quote my post. But sure, if that’s your opinion. Very close anywaysExactly, Sobers is better.

TrumperSure, but it’s more Viv’s advantage than Sober’s weakness. There is no ATG batsmen, who scores as quickly as Viv.
I normally have Sobers at 3 and Richards at 5 with Hobbs separating them. These two are probably tied at 4 with only Tendulkar, Hobbs and Bradman above them
Tendulkar Hobbs Sobers Richards are fine in any order for meI normally have Sobers at 3 and Richards at 5 with Hobbs separating them.
Well as per the other thread, and the voting results, the top 7 would appear to be quite close and could go in any order, depending on preference. Bradman aside of course.Bradman

Thing about Lillee, similar to Viv is that some of his best work came in WSC and in the ROW matches (which were originally tests). But while it matters less to me that it does to others, it would have been good to see him perform outside of his comfort a bit more.Sobers by a reasonable margin. Viv slightly overrated like Lillee.
Anyways Lillee was brilliant in Aus and Eng is a bowling friendly era. Viv was ATG in both Aus and Eng, brilliant at home, and good in Asia. Far better record(especially if you consider the rate at which he did it).Thing about Lillee, similar to Viv is that some of his best work came in WSC and in the ROW matches (which were originally tests). Its Botham not Sobers.I find them so hard to separate.
Why ? Are they Siamese twins ?I find them so hard to separate.
