Smith and Ponting choose Flintoff

It would be nice if people also put their supporting team, as it would make sense as to who they would like to add to their team

Me supporting INDIA
for me i choose Flintoff and McGrath

Ok. Me supporting NZ, I would have to say Flintoff and Smith. Plus then, Fleming and Smith would be on the same team

Mainly, we need three though. We need another spin bowler. To go with Vettori.

Smith and Ponting choose Flintoff - Richard chooses Ealham and Croft
Trevor Hohns, John Buchanan and Andrew Hilditch chose Lewis and Johnson.
What's your point?

Mick Lewis has done a lot for the one day game. Remember how people were saying that ODI's were boring? Mick has given them the flick. Now managed to contribute to the two highest run chases in history. What a legend.
I actually feel rather sorry for the poor guy - just imagine that!

England fan - Inzamam, to shore up the middle order and Warne, which would make our full-strength bowling attack one of the very best of recent times

I would go with Warne as well but would have Dravid instead of Inzamam. England really need a batsman like him.

England could never take Warne without taking a keeper as well.

With Jones behind the stumps and Warne turning it out of the rough, byes would top score every game. It would end with Warne pulling out his newly engineered hair.

Warney could bat 7 and we could recall Read ;)

India:

I'd go Akhtar and Lee. And if Akhtar is not fit, I'd make do with Flintoff ;)

/Yes, you can tell that I'm a bit starved for some pace....

Imagine if the lower order if India had Flintoff AND Lee.....

6) Dhoni
7) Flintoff
8) Pathan
9) Lee
10) Kumble
11) Patel/Harbhajan/Sreesanth

India might have to go in with SIX specialist bolwers.....

I mean even your number 10 has a realistic chance to score a half century...

That lower order is better than the current English top order ;)

Australia would take flintoff and dravid...

unless the Australia selectors actually decided it was ok to select victorians who weren't Shane Warne. In THAT case, we'd have just have Hodge back in the team please. (Yes I know Victoria is part of Australia, but please tell the selectors that)
