I think the sim used here is "Imaginative Cricket 6".Adamc said:How did they win the Test match by 3 wickets if they were 8 down?
EDIT: Actually, they weren't 8 down, but the scorecard says they are.
honestbharani: ITC is the best for Test cricket, but it's expensive. The free alternative is Syedur Rahman's Cricket Sim which seems to work quite well both for FC and OD. There's a superior OD sim being programmed by the ginger wizard, though, but it's a fair while from being a respectable simulation yet.

Yeah, but that's VC4. In Andre Adam's only test match he took six wickets at a SR of 31 (which is what VC4 uses, along with bowling position and OPM rate to sim the bowler) so he's going to take at least a few wickets.burkey_1988 said:

Three-match series between an Invitational XI (of my choosing) and a World XI. Couldn't resist putting myself in the Invitational squad (using Dev League stats). 
1st Test Match @ Lord's (England):
Comprehensively thrashed, thanks mainly to a Bradman double-ton. Terrific figures of 1-142 for me.
2nd Test Match @ Eden Gardens (India):
Great performance to level it at 1-1, Marshall leading the way with bat and ball.
3rd Test Match @ The MCG (Australia):
Looked promising for the Invitational XI after a five-wicket haul from yours truly (
), but a determined Bradman led the World XI home to a 2-1 series win.

Alright, since I'll have basically nothing to do over this weekend, I might sim a few matches.
However, I'm going to need your help Well, a few of you.
I'll sim matches of the test nations vs each other (either 1 off tests or a series, not sure yet) of sides made entirely up of players who debuted after 1st of January 2000.
However, you're also allowed to onclude 3 first class players who haven't played test cricket yet, but have also debuted into FC cricket after 2000 (although I won't allow players who have played less then 5 FC matches, as they could have incredibly inflated averages..).
When you name your side, please include a link to their Cricinfo pages.

However you can only pick 11 players and that side will be the final XI for all tests.
So keep that in mind when you pick bowlers.
You must also pick pitch conditions, in a format of 0-10.

Pitch conditions can be set for each veune. N.B. each team is allocated one home ground. The pitch conditions in each game vary according to a gaussian distribution, but can be weighted by the pitch conditions controls. There are three factors to modify, pace, movement and turn:
Pace controls how quickly the wicket plays. Slower wickets are harder to score on and result in lower run rates. Faster wickets encourage greater run scoring but provide extra bounce for fast bowlers and spinners.
Movement controls how much the ball deviates both vertically and laterally. Greater movement produces more wickets and makes batting more difficult.
Turn controls how much assistance is in the pitch for slow bowlers. Pitches offering more turn will help slow bowlers take wickets."
So Pace: 0=low 10=high
Movement: 0=low 10=high
Spin: 0=low 10=high
0 pace would be a slow pitch, 10 would be fast.
And for whoever gets a team, it's a matter of who says which nation they want. I will confirm if you get the team or not, then you can pick your team Hope this is clear.

Well, a few of you.I'll sim matches of the test nations vs each other (either 1 off tests or a series, not sure yet) of sides made entirely up of players who debuted after 1st of January 2000.
However, you're also allowed to onclude 3 first class players who haven't played test cricket yet, but have also debuted into FC cricket after 2000 (although I won't allow players who have played less then 5 FC matches, as they could have incredibly inflated averages..).
When you name your side, please include a link to their Cricinfo pages.
