I reckon yours is looking pretty good ONIY; I was willing to pay big money for Borde if I missed out on Roberts/Vettori. Sounds a seriously good cricketer. Plus you've got a gun 'keeper in Tallon -- wicketkeeping options may well be the decider between sides here.

Very happy with Vettori though -- while not an ATG spinner, he may well be one of the very best dished out in this draft (inb4 Murali and Warne pop up in consecutive rounds) and gives the flexibility of being able to bat anywhere from 6 to 8.

Another anecdote/clue about the player in Monk's Guess-A-Quote:

I boycotted my cricket club's most recent presentation night, where he was the guest speaker, protesting that club funds would be funnelled into the wallet of such a ****.

Just wondering what would happen if the majority of people need bowlers during the last round but the randomiser selects mainly batsman like it has here?

Still need 3 top order bats and 4 bowlers though, and hey look how many of them popped out this round...

The one person who has a complete team/empty wallet would create a huge amount of fuss if we got an extra round or two i would imagine

IIRC we're going for 13 rounds already anyway, to try and offset that problem.

I'm aiming to be done in 11, but that'll obviously change depending on who pops up over the next few rounds.

Morgie must like Greg Ritchie almost as much as I like Junior Murray to have dropped $50k for him! Was it Fat Cat?

At least I've only drafted Test standard players so far.

It's one of those things with this draft, there's a chance a few XIs will look pretty unbalanced.

Yeh, you win. Interested to know what's at the heart of Dan's issue with Fat Cat.

Here's a topical question for y'all. If they'd played the same amount of tests in the same era, who would've had the better test record out of Greg Ritchie and Mark Cosgrove?

Seems to be a very high proportion of "decent" Test-level cricketers that round.
