Changing the captain right before the WC when you're ranked #1 in ODIs is batshit insane. So I'll go with no.

Naseem's bowling was improving in Tests. Now that he is injured, your out of form batters (like Warner, Labu, Green) will get another youngsta beauty 16yo pacer to smash triple hundreds.

Most teams will play their 2nd string players in ODIs for next 3 years after this WC. While we will likely go in with full strength team each time. If we change captain after WC, he will easily defeat fringe XIs of other countries. He will be hailed as second coming of Kardar & other such stuff. But he will blink the first moment he face main XIs in WC27 if they put him under pressure. So, if we are going to change the captain, let's do it now. With Fakhar out of form & Naseem and Haris injured & non-existent MO and spinners, we are already out of SF contention. New captain will at-least get the experience of facing full strength teams. Either we will win or we will learn. It's a win-win situation in longer run.

Yes hes uninspiring and confused most of the times as captain

He didn't become a bad captain all of the sudden, he was always like this and the reason it stayed hidden is due to wins over associate teams and fast bowling performing.
The moment their bowling got exposed and got pasting, he ran out of ideas.
This is what happens when you have bowlers who can only bowl 4 overs, these are T20 type bowlers. Their VC that got dropped last game is a big example - only relies on batsman making mistakes to get wickets aka T20!

It’s still baffling how bad Pakistans fielding is. I legit think their fielding is the worse out of any teams this tournament. It shouldn’t be this way as well they consistently face the top sides on all formats, most their players play franchise cricket, their board can hire all the coaches, trainers etc. But their fielding is still ridiculously bad.’
