Cricinfo has always had him at 5'10" (just checked, still does). 181cm=5'11". Either way, don't see how he doesn't fit in this thread? Not sure if serious....
I think he's about 6'2".
How tall was Hadlee? Also, don't think Davo was that tall, or Fred Trueman.
Edit: Harris' CA profile lists him at 181 cm.
Which, some stats minded ****wit will now analyse to death as to whether this means he's "tall" or not, depending on some statistical mean.
Nah man, I wasn't having a chip at you, I was suffering from rant hangover after I'd vented on stats nuffies in the Gilly/ Dhoni/ ABII thread. Apologies for any misunderstanding.tbf I just chipped in with a pretty decent example like everyone else, and yet some old **** had the temerity to question ME (!) in my assessment of someone's height!
Google reckons Hadlee 6'1" and Lillee 5'11 1/2".Hadlee was 6'1 1/2 in his playing day IIRC.
Haha yup, Google is a total lottery when it comes to heights, I notice Ponting is listed at 1.78 m & Steve Waugh 1.68 mGoogle reckons Hadlee 6'1" and Lillee 5'11 1/2".
However, Shane Warne is supposedly 6 foot and if you google image him and Lillee, Lillee is at least an inch taller. Hadlee appears to be slightly taller than Lillee but not really more than an inch.
Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke are both supposed to be 5'10" and Warne is taller than both, especially Ponting.
I reckon Hadlee is probably about 6'1" and Lillee 6 foot, Warne probably 5'10"-5'11" range, Clarke might be an honest 5'10" but I doubt Ponting is even 5'9".
Yes, this thread has now turned into my personal stage to waste my life on meaningless height comparisons.
Yeah I saw Gilchrist was listed at 1.87 which is effectively 6'2 and I don't buy that for a second ...I reckon he's just over 6 foot at very the most ..and Damien Fleming pictured there (& actually relevant to thread) I'd guess would be 5'11Seems about right. I'd probably just give each Waugh twin a little under an inch more than you. Gilly is apparently over 6'1" so I think Mark's looking a solid 6-footer there.
