Agreed. Its worse when your team ****ing sucks and has about 3 guys actually playing.

Yeah, Team Riggins has taken a pummeling. Wade being killed in the nets really hasn't helped.

Your boi Khawaja being an unfit **** is going to mean I'll probably lose SMarsh or possibly Bancroft for the duration.

You still need to encourage participation in the comp in some way. Having teams left completely on auto-pilot kills some of the fun, doesn't it.

Cabinet and Red Hill haven't post in the thread for a couple of weeks and it feels right to me that they forfeit some considerations till they step back in.

I'd like to see you having your full XI, but its NUFAN's call and I certainly don't think it's an unfair decision.

Which is why if you have more than. XI players playing then unless you state who you want to leave out then you keep your last lineup but when states make stupid/unexpected selections or players go down in the warmup then it's stupid to me that we have to cop that when there's someone on the bench who could come in. Surely that's part of the reason we picked squads and not just XIs

I agree in cases where players get made 12th/13th man on game day, but Behrendorff is injured and WA had actually named their squad already without him in it, so you could've put in the time and figured that out yourself, so this one is a grey area IMO. I don't think this competition should be about correctly guessing the lineups team pick, but I don't have any issue with looking up the squads on twitter/Facebook/CW etc being rewarded.

Yeah you're right actually; it was Mackin they ruled out early. I think you should get your eleven tbh. It's not like you didn't post a team at all, or named a player who'd already been ruled out or something like that.

From this point forward (round 4) so everyone understands and to avoid any potential confusion at all..

The 11 you pick in this thread are the 11 who's points you get for the round and you have until the first ball is bowled in the round to make your pick. If for some reason someone decides to write say number 9. Smith/Jones - you will get Smith runs. If someone decides to open with a question mark and leave out a perfectly fine player on the bench you'll get question marks 0. If you don't pick your team in this thread you'll get the same XI as last round. xx

Will those who are last in their respective groups (ie. me) get first choice?

Last place gets first choice each round and you have to cut a player if you want to bring in someone. Any player who gets cut has the opportunity to be picked up again.

I'm not sure whether to make it 12 or 24 hour time limits, what do you think is best - there is quite a long gap due to the Bash.

Nufan's way definitely disadvantages someone like Cabi who's less likely to be able to get on close to the toss and leaves a lot more down to luck than the actual skill of drafting the squad but it's so unlike him to be contrary for the sake of being different and a bit of a *something*
