Yeah pitches too flat at home for a medium pacer to succeed, I reckon he was a decent medium pacer
He definitely was, just don't think achieved enough to be termed a proper Test all-rounder, let alone Top 10 candidate. Though it did made me appreciate him more.

Worrell also made three tours of India with the Commonwealth xi, playing "tests" against pretty much full strength Indian sides. He scored something like 1100 runs at 70-odd, as well as taking 25+ wickets at around 30, presumably bowling spin.

Yeah, saw Peterhrt's stats. As I said, I just don't think Worrell was a pure Test allrounder, much more a borderline one.
