Yea no defending that. It was garbage. Probably a new low for this thread - it's hard to dethrone Burgey talking about Masterchef.

Eating my veggies now, some actual food and nutrition.

*****, the good people at Paws and Recover said at Ace's 8th birthday party the other week that his rescue story is "the happiest they've seen". He agrees:

As does Indie:

Though she be but little, she is fierce.
She's beautiful and looks very healthy.

Ace though - I walk a lot of dogs in my area and not many poodles/mixes have that radiant a coat. Handsome fella.

He's a good boy. Shame he killed his first owner, but stuff happens.

His first owner was an elderly agoraphobic gentleman. Much like you when you were post on Planet Cricket, Ace never really went outside at all. Unlike you, this seems ridiculous now as he's so well socialised, gets walked every day with a group of doggo mates around the leafy foreshore of Balmain and is very chilled.

But anyway, he got under the old bloke's feet and tripped him over. Old bloke broke his hip, went to hospital and developed pneumonia. Didn't come out. Ace then went into foster care - between houses for about six - nine months before we adopted him.

He's a good boy.

I'm just too busy to go through the motions of picking out another easy target to prey upon, though they are legion.

Poor Burgey must have been bored this whole week. It gets lonely in the old folk's home when your kids don't visit and the other residents won't talk to you.

You all should have taken care of him when I was gone. He ends up watching trashy reality TV shows when bored. Probably binged on a season of Real Housewives this past week. Or worse - Masterchef re-runs.

Not Terrible
You know deep down, Burgey is probably going to have a wee smile to himself that you're back. And a small amount of joy in his heart will be there so he can banter with you.

You bloody spuds.

Hey Hey, it's Return of the Rice Cooker Day! It would have been difficult for you to get by without the entertainment I provide you in your otherwise execrable existence.

Idiot. You know nothing (in general, and about my viewing habits).

Survivor Australia is on - plainly the best of the franchise in the world. As is the Bachelor, probably the worst of the franchise in the world. Both a lot more entertaining and less horrifying than your posts and face respectively.

- My best,
Burgey
