Sometimes, as with your own post yesterday, I do so because I feel I may have had a discourse with someone in which I may have inadvertently hurt their feelings, and I don't want them to think I have some personal set against them. Other times it's when I've found something amusing, or that a good point has been made.

Having said that, please don't feel as though the like you were fortunate enough to receive was a sympathy like. I do hand those out sometimes to throw a bone someone's way, but that wasn't such an instance.

Slept in since it's a holiday

I believe breakfast today will be guac and toast, a fried egg, a chocolate and chia seed mousse, a banana and some tea.

Gotta get cracking on making the guac and egg now. Easy enough to whip up. Pictures will be be up soon

Well it's my day off, and I make a killer guac.

The highlight of that post was supposed to be the chocolate chia seed mousse tho. Picked it up from one of these HK based catering companies, it's supposed to be good - just cocoa, coconut, chia seeds, nuts and sweetened with honey. Pretty excited for it. The rest are just to round it off

Evaluation: Guac hit the spot. Nice texture, not too salty, the lemon was refreshing and the coriander mixed in well.

The egg is crispy on the bottom but soft on top. Well seasoned. Gorgeous.

The mousse is more a pudding - basically what they've done is soak chia seeds in coconut milk to make this gelatinous texture, mixed with honey cocoa and some sliced bananas and coconut shaving to top it off. Not bad tbh.

Chai is chai, that's always good

Haven't tucked into the banana yet, will feedback on that once I have
