This is probably the best performance I have ever seen from England in any limited overs tournament. Australia are obviously favourites to meet them in the final and let's hope it will be a fitting finale to what has been a pretty mediocre world cup so far. England is the only one of the top 8 teams to never win a world tournament and this is a great opportunity to rectify that.

Glad to see England go through to the finals, imo. I'm sick of seeing Sri Lanka reach the finals only to choke and give the match away which would have definitely happened again if they went though to face Australia.

Jayasuriya keeps getting picked because the idiot president of the country promised him a definite spot in all the matches in order to get him to run for parliament for his party. Lovely country I live in...
