Laxman averaged 66 or 86 vs McGrath. An opener vs no 6 is a big difference.
Sehwag was ATG vs spin and production in Asia.
Smaller point but his exceptional SR giving India the ability to constantly put opposition under pressure, go for wins on flatter decks.
I don't think he avged 66 or 86 against McGrath individually.. Where did you get that from?Laxman averaged 66 or 86 vs McGrath.
So did he dominated McGrath in other matches as well (barring 282 kolkata) ?
That is not averaging 82.5 vs McGrath. That stat is completely different
Then what are these stats says? That is not averaging 82.5 vs McGrath. That stat is completely different
That stat tells u that, in the innings McGrath got X batsman out, what was the average of batsman X (against all bowling combined). Then what are these stats says?
Here what is the meaning of average ?

Yeah it's worthless, you can dominate and slap a bowler aroud for 1000 runs all career, and then get out at 0 to the same bowler, the stat would show that your average against him was 0, no regard for the 1000 runs smackingThen what are these stats says?
